Just had a quick question, wanted to throw up here. Don't know why but I think I'd feel like a dope if I dropped this question in a shop.
I'm a server at a restaurant, and i spend a lot of my day with very hot, or very cold plates resting on my inner arm... right where I want my first piece to be done. I've been sitting on a design of a celtic cross for about a year now, and have finally decided to do it. But I was just worried about it healing with the goofy tempature conditions and pressure on it.
Will it be fine? or take a couple days off work?
Thanks

I'd think after you get healed up, you should be okay.... I'd certainly take a few days off though, that's going to be an open wound and you -arent- going to want hot plates and whatnot resting on it at first.
definitely take the appropriate time off, or when serving, wear something such as plastic wrap (and change it frequently) to prevent cross contamination onto a plate that customers will be eating from!!!!
Definately take a minimum of four days off!!
