HELP! FOOT TATTOO HEALING REJECTING INK?

Hi All! I had daisy chain tattooed down the side of my foot 7 weeks ago. Its not my first tattoo and I went to a reputable artist, took care of it etc. My tattoos usually appear healed (I know there is still healing going on) within about 3 weeks. When the tattoo on my foot finally did heal, the colour was gone and the line work faded to the point of invisibility in places! I went and had the tattoo touched up (more a case of having the whole thing redone, ouch!) 4 days ago but my question is:- will the same thing happen again? Does anyone else have any experience with their feeties? Thanks :) x
