My fiance is interested in designing tattoos, that is, creating the art, not putting it on skin. However we are unsure as to how to go about the business side of it. What are studios looking for? Where do studios usually get their art? How are copyrights and other rights involved? How attainable is the goal of getting your art included in a studio's repertoire? Are there any other resources on this topic?
Any insight would be much appreciated.

There are flash companys that deal with that. You have to send the art to them and they will work out the rest.As far as how much per set you will get and so on.I have been recently talking to tattoo johnnys flash and working something out with them. They seemed to be the most helpfull in my situation. But there are lots of others. You can also talk to gabe from this web sight and he can probably work something out with you.I think you can sell on this site.Good Luck you can also sell them yourself but that takes alot of time.www.thirddimensiontattoos.com
