Help with new tattoo!

I Just got my first tattoo 2 days ago and I noticed that it looks like its already fadeing...I cant see spots...I was wondering If the A&D Onintment Im useing can make the ink come out if I use too much...or maybe the tattoo artist didnt go deep enough?

Yes...if you apply too much of any ointment you can "smother" your tattoo...the fresh tattoo needs to breathe...it needs oxygen to facilitate the healing process.

Oh Ok I think the 1st day I applyed too Much..But to me it didnt seem that much...this being my first tattoo i was kinda worryed about it...But next month sometime after it heals I am going to get a touchup...hopefully it will look much better..and now I know to use very little of that A&D Onintment maybe that will help..thanks very much!!
