I got a tattoo on my right wrist less than a week ago. The healing is coming along fine (for the most part) and the scabbing is completely done with. It didn't itch ever even slightly which I found odd considering I heard from everyone under the sun that it would itch like hell, maybe it still will. Anyway, it's a red heart with a black Aries symbol inside of the heart and he did a few white accents for reflection. Everything looks fine besides the white. Where he did the white sits lower then the rest of the tattoo, like he dug too deep or something, and it won't heal. It's not as puss-y as it was at first but it still looks green and gross. Should I just wait a while and see if it shores itself up? I'll post a link to a picture so somebody with experience can make the call. I did the whole A&D thing and now I'm keeping it moisturized, it's just the center of the tattoo - it looks gross and burns like crazy. http://img91.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p1270023ry3.jpg It almost looks like it's eating away at the rest of the tattoo. I have no other symptoms of an infection so I don't want to jump to any conclusions and he'll touch it up when it's done healing...but wtf?
I didn't realize image posting worked here so here it is if you don't feel compelled to copy and paste the link.
