has anyone gotten a henna tattoo??
About Henna tattoo is it a very beautiful art but you must be careful with black Henna I know about two ladies friend of mine that develope an allergic reaction due to the black dye in it. The black dye had some chemical in it that was not skin friendly and they develope some serious infection. Please make sure that you get it from the right source and double check it usualy the brown one is good.
thanks for the info i will make sure its not the dark henna that is use but the brown. I have alot of alligeries so my luck i would have ended up with a nasty skin infection..........much to my surprise i thought i might have a reaction to the dyes when i got my tattoos. But with 16 done and at least 6 more to go sure am glad i didnt have any reactions.
Black Henna has poison in it. Its not safe to get it whatsoever. Some man was arrested in NYC a couple yrs ago for doing it on the street. A bunch of his customers ended up in the hospital b.c it and the police tracked him down and arrested him. Thats all I heard. Idk what happened with him after that. If you really want brown henna to get so drak it looks black. Let it get son and let the henna crap fall off itself, don't pick at it. And put lemon juice on it every 15 mins.
due that i am half greek and half italian i got lots of cheese and lemon juice around. Thanks for the tip.
i suppply 35 theme parks with natural dark staining henna a few factors go into how dark you stain will be. one is the freshness of the powder or paste. Another is where you are applying it and the thickness of the lines and how long you leave it on as well as the recipie used. Most quality henna powder will give you a decent stain if it is fresh but to get the dark stains, you need the addition of skin safe EOs that will effect the staining power of the henna, ie: make it darker. The safest, most effective one is tea tree oil. If you are making the paste yourself, it does take time, at least 2 to 3 days to make the paste. If you are having it applied, you can do a quick skin test to see how it will stain you. First of all, it you put a small dot on, let it dry and it is black...stay away from it. If you put a small dot and let it dry and it is dark brown stay away from it as it has hair dye added. If you do the same test and get a bright orange color, it will darken over the next 24 to 36 hours to a dark brown color. Hope that helps. namaste barbee www.barbeecain.com
