hey i need halp translating a sanskrit omen

hey, this site is really great! i am completely computer stupid and it has helped me a lot, so thanks! anyways my boyfriend gave me this ring awhile back and it has this symbol on it that neither of us know what it is. now he wants to get it tatooed onto his arm, so i figured he better know what it is before its inked on him for all of time. i've found pics of it all over the internet but they have only been able to tell me its sanskrit. im pretty sure its a basic sanskrit omen. if anyone has some know how about sanskrit omens would they please email me and ill send you a pic of it? thanks a ton -hippiechick
