Hi. I am 17 and wantin a tatoo. I found an awesome design that i want and I'm all stoked. I was wondering if there is any info like: best place to get the first one in case it is regreted, how big/small to get it, and where I should go to get it. I'm kind of in a small town in canada so I was wondering if anybody knows a good person in the okanogan to go to that could do a good one. It's my first one so I want it to be a gooder. Thanks for anything u can give me.

well if you type something like...."in case I regret it".... you NEED to rethink what you are doing. If you do get tattooed by a pro. relax, breath...and remember it's most likely going to be on your body for the rest of your life...so find a good artist (don't PRICE shop, QUALITY shop)...if that makes sense).
well ya i know i should quality shop but with my current money position i don't really want to pay $100 to get it. i'm really sure i won't regret it but u never know. like i might be thinking different in the future then i do now. the tat i have represents everything i believe in and i'm hoping that won't change. thanks
STOP WHOA HOLD ON man what am i hearing here you want a tattoo for around 100 bucks you put in regret humm let me see here we now have laser removal very expesive or saltrock and lemon juice but seriously i have clients that will take up to a year to think about the desing they want and they get what they pay for and at 100.00 bucks a hour you bet they get the best they can so remember GOOD ART AINT CHEAP AND CHEAP ART AINT GOOD however there are lots of desings that you can recive for around or below 100 bucks might i suggest you go to a GOOD reputable shop even if you have to drive a little bit this will be with you forever make it a all around good experince pick a artist you feel good with look at there work choose wisely think think think will i want this 20 years down the road i personally do not have a tattoo on me that i would not be ashamed of or REGRET 20 30 50 years down the road from now. best of luck on your venture lets us know what happens be safe too also see what they will charge for your amount on this particular piece you may just get a outline to start well take care
what do u mean "saltrock and lemon juice"... is that another way to take it off? ya the reason i asked in the first place was to see if anybody knew anybody that's good. oh and what i meant was i'd rather not get it then deplete my bank acount... i wouldn't think of going to a crummy place instead of a good one. that would be plain stupid. lol. thanks for the input
salt rock and lemon juice is a old brutal but effective way of removing a tattoo youll bleed and scar badly i do understand not wanting to drain the account so check with the artist of your choice and see what 100 bucks will get ya everyone is diferent best of luck hope ya can get the piece of your dreams even if it means to do it in settings take care
Hey I just got my first tattoo, too. I got it on my ankle, so it wouldn't be too noticable but I could show it off if I wanted. I wasn't looking to spend too much on it, either, but it turns out that the design I wanted was kinda intricate and the artist wouldn't do it for less than $100. Also, she had to make the tattoo a little bigger than I would have liked, so that the lines wouldn't run together. So for size, it just depends on the design. I would ask the artist. As for where to get it, I checked out places listed online, went to their websites and looked at their portfolios. But in all honesty, once you find a place you like, you should go there and check it out first. There are some I found with awesome websites but really crappy studios. The one I ended up going with, I would have never considered, but I loved the quality of their work and I would definitely go back there for another. Well worth the money. Hope some or any of that helps.
