highlights are still pink

I was wondering why the highlights on my black and grey tattoo are still pink?..Its been about 3 weeks since ive got tatted and the highlights still look pink, kinda like a scar...Im thinking the blood mixed with the white ink...Im just wondering if im gonna need to have just some black tattoo ink to go over it cause right now i got some pink on me and it stands out...

You're probably right about blood mixing in with the white ink. They might be able to go over it a bit with more white to make it more solid. I'd say if in a few more weeks once it's fully healed go back to your artist and have them check it out.
