I recently re-entered the world of tattooing-had my first customer after 5 yrs or so, he was a bleeder. more in one line than i ever saw before. the second the needle hit skin blood practically erupted and continued to bead up at that line. used a whole sheet of bounty white for a one inch line!!
has anyone ever encountered this? please note we went down the usual suuspect list~ aspirin, drugs, alcohol, sickness, and nothing matched. please answer if you've ever had this trouble.
I had to stop tattooing him and it's totally shaken my confidence!
how much bleeding is too much?

It is normal to happen after 5 years not practising tattoos. Now the best thing to do will be to stop for another 5 or more. There is some thing called setting of machines and making the proper needles and setting the dept of needles. But u probably know all this rubbish so i can only conclude that it was will of the god that made him bleed so much since u cheked all other things as u said in your post.
I can only suggest u to try and "refresh" your knowlege from before by using help from some professional tattoo artist and taking some of the classes and learning the basics of tattooing techniques before u make somebody bleed to death or before u drill some more bones.

sounds like you need an eyeloupe
How much depth where you using when you did the tattoo?
First of all, maybe you should learn how to speak English and possibly even learn how to spell and type before you ATTEMPT to be witty online where the world can see how illiterate you are.
Secondly, I tattooed my friend and he loved it. My posting was for reasons of caution~ the way a real professional should be.
Put up or shut up you moron, where are your beautiful works of art????
Oh what's that? I see nothing of yours out there...???
Hmmm WHAT A SURPRISE.

It's EXACTLY this stupidity and attitude that proves a lack of professional courtesy and a clear lack of talent on your part. If you HAD any talent you wouldn't feel the need to lash out... sad really.
a "real" professional wouldn't need to come to a forum to ask " why'd this happen..." questions. I would say, stop tattooing people using trial and error, and get an apprenticeship and learn from a pro.
As for tattoomatic's response...you know what they say about asking a stupid question?
and just so you don't get mad ...here's a link to my work.

It sounds like he does know how to Tattoo, and has just been out of practice. Maybe he needs more practice now that he is starting agian, but isn't it kinda RUDE to jump on him and get all cocky about it? For all you know the guy might bleed easy. Point is, you don't know...
