How to care for new tattoo?: START to FINISH

I was hoping someone can give me detailed info on how to heal a tattoo. My artist (10 yrs esp) told me that I am the worst healer he has ever seen. I use H2Ocean so anyone with experience with that would be great. I know I am not allergic to this as I was Tattoo Goo and some parts have healed correctly so I think I am doing something wrong... So when should I remove the bandage? What do I do next? How soon after removing the bandage can I apply ointment? What do I dab it with if it leaks, paper towels? How many days should I use the H2Ocean cream? How often should you wash it with soap? Basically just a step by step description of what you should do to get a 10 day or less heal. THANKS in advance! TAKE THE BANDAGE OFF NOW BOB!!! Your tattoo needs to breathe! Get an IVORY bar of soap. It is a very gentle, mild soap. Wash your tattoo 4-5x daily with luke warm water and Ivory. Use your fingertips, do not use wash cloth. Rinse in cold water. Pat dry, don't rub dry. Let air dry for approx. 10 minutes. Then apply a THIN layer of triple antibiotic or Bacitracin (DO NOT USE NEOSPORIN!)...(you can also use Berts Badger Balm. You can find it at Carker Barrel if there is one near by you.) If it is shiny then you have too much on, just blot off excess with kleenex. Do this for the first 4 days. On the 5th day stop using the antibiotic and switch to a non-scented, advanced healing lotion. (ie, jergens, vasoline, etc.) Apply a good amount atleast 4-5x's daily. Or you can borrow some ointment from Jwerk cause he is gonna need a whole case of it to care for the clipchord wounds that he is gonna recieve for leaving a very dead and extremely rotten (maggots and all) chicken in the back room of the studio! And it didn't even get the tattoos it paid for and wants a refund! AHHH one more dead apprentice...I'm runnin out of burial spots! TAz
