how to make my own ink that will stick?

22 messages · last activity 11/30/2007

i have been boiling down bic pen ink that i have extracted from many pens ,but it seems that no matter how much i concentrate it down the tats still look crappy ,kind of washed out when they heal after about a month. so i know that some companys sell ink that is made for tattoos but i cant afford it ,its like $7 a bottle and the pens i can get at sams club real cheap . so if anybody knows the right way to use it that would be helpful. i really could use the help from some "pros". thanks alot!
maybe your gun is messed up. maybe try to go over it again when your done or turn the power source up higher. I usually do like 12-13 volts or higher especially when i use my homemade ink. Also make sure you get it in deep enough to really make it dark and stand out. You can even make it kinda 3-d this way if you go a little deaper than usually and this will make it last longer and fade slower. Black people especially like that 3-d kinda look good luck and keep slingin ink!
wow
Somebody is having some fun at our expense...don't fall for it!!!
this is what happens when you are a complete degenerate and your only skill is being a loser cause you sit in front of the computer so much that you have to find ways to amuse yourself.......he has found his true purpose in life!!
welcome to Troll-land! LOL
holy s@#$, I hope to god you are a troll. for all reading, this is insane! go look at the tattoo gallery and forget this crap about homemade inks...
Jesus.....I really hope he's joking.
Also, the best ink to use for Tribal piece is Squid Ink, it's super black. It'll last forever.
squid ink ,where can i get that? is there a web site? thanks alot man !
uhhh... from a squid?
Ya gotta set a trap for em in the sewer system,,,use peanut butter for bait...then ya yake em home and MILK em...watch out tho,,,they bite! Then after ya milk about two or three thousand of em ya put the ink in a sauce pan and add some hot sauce and Drano....boil it down for a couple hours till its really thick then ya slice the design in real deep with a razor blade and rub the squid ink on the cuts and there ya have it...a real squid ink tattoo...hey do us a favor and send pics of yer first one willya? NOTE: ThIS POST IS A JOKE!!! DO NOT DO THIS KIDS!!!!
so you said boil it down is a pan,ok i think the pet store has some hey thanks taz! where can i see some of your work? you are the only one here that has really helped me out ,thank you very much
Coming to your neighborhood
you said your work is coming to my nierborhood? no i meant where can isee pictures of your work ,i bet you are the best artist on this site ,because you always have the best advice, you know so much about tattooing your work must be somthing you can really be proud of! keep up the good work!
More importantly...where can we see some work by YOU...someone who doesn't even know what an ultrasonic does? Gosh you are funny!
taz you been dodging questions about your work since you been posting here. this clown is right, your own web site doesnt have pics of your work and your myspace page has the same { in progress} back piece picture from a year ago! just look he says ,you can find them. if not on your own shops web site then where? do you ave them hidden somewhere in the depths of the internet? and if you taught the two guys at your shop how to tattoo then you are really not in any shape to be handing out advice! good day sir
Really well one of "those guys at my shop" is now at Kandyman Joes Pure imagination tattoos and both I and Joe are pretty damn proud of the excellent work hes doin!! Next!
I mean the first two posts are from the same IP....doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out this guy has no life
notice this man did not address the whole first half of the question? only the part about the guy he trained, did you want to say anything about your tattoo pictures?
go to your local craftstore they have india ink at a good price and it sticks good you can also use printer ink thats water soluble but it is a lot lighter and you usually have to go over it bout 4-5 times ive been working out of home for about 7 years and ive done some awesome tattoos with india ink if you can find higgens india ink you will be set but it only comes in a 3-4 oz bottle and it goes quick and your gun is messed up if it comes out blurred and you have to use 2 needles soldered together to make a good dark line
