How to preserve the color of my tatoo?

I just got a beautiful bright tatoo and I want to know what is the best thing to do in order to preserve it's color-- other than staying out of the sun. Should I moisturise all the time? Any lotion anyone can recommend?

Yep, sun is definitly bad for tattoos. Overall keeping your skin nice and healthy is good to keep the tattoos color. I use lubraderm, and tried out tattoo goos lotion last weekend (I thought it was pretty good). If the tattoo artist didnt put the tattoo in good, the tattoo will fade no matter what you do, unfortunately. Fortunately, you can always get your tattoo coloer back in every 10-15 years if you like. have fun! gabe
