How to take care of my new art

7 messages · last activity 3/19/2006

Hey Guys, I'm new to the world of Tats, and must say, I just decided to go big, or go home. (I'm 41 so I just don't apologize for anything I do anymore... sorry wife...) My first tattoo covers my entire left upper arm from shoulder to elbow. What's the problem? It just looks so incredibly freaking good, that I'm a little worried about doing the best I can to take care of it. My shop had me using A+D to heal it, and now Mostly just lubriderm once a day, with A+D on occasion. Are any of those "fancy, specialized" products way better, or does this seem like a pretty good plan? Thanks anyone!
Just stick with what your artist told you to do. Thats all you need to do.
DITTO!!! DITTOO!!! ON WHAT KRYSTOF SAYS YUPPERS

Sounds like a good plan. Thanks Guys!

Taz, shoot me your email, and I'll be happy to send you the drawing. I only have the outline right now, still need to get color starting next week, but I can certainly send you the outline. I found a fantastic artist here in Denver at a place Called Twisted Sol. The guy's name is Lee Ball, and man, what a professional. Clean, talented, personable, light touch, and really really artistic. Did a fantastic tribute to my twin daughters. It's awesome. Let me know how I can post it, or send it to ya... Cactus Al
