i am peeling the skin out my tattoo

i had a tattoo done at a friend house about 6 weeks ago this is my first and i didnt take good care i used for the first 4 weeks the a+d oinment and i used to put alot of it every time i took a shower i would pour alot of water on it and every night i would cover it with plastic wrapper, i went to a tattoo shop and they told me to stop using the a+d and use lubriderm lotion i been using it for 2 weeks and i noticed that the skin around the tattoo is peeling so i have been remonving the skin i know i am not supposed to do remove the skin , is this bad

So, you got tatted by some douche at his house; and since they didn't tell you how to care for it, you drowned it in A&D for a month. Then, when you spoke to a real tattoo artist at a shop, you started using lubriderm (which you should've started using after the second day). Then, you pulled flaking skin off of the tattoo, even though you knew you shouldn't. Nice job a-hole. You deservce to have a messy blotch of a tattoo because you are an uneducated idiot.

You are the reason they put "DO NOT EAT" on shampoo bottles.. next we want you to lick your fingers and shove them into the electric socket.. you never assit peeling.. neither in tats nor sunburn.. you damage dermis that hasnt died & isnt ready to shed.. got tattooed at a friends house... thats like losing your virginity to your cousin.. JUST WRONG!!! No tattoo artist worth his shit would ever... they say "come to the shop"... what did you get?? a flower?? a bird?? a black panther?? lasering is pricey..start clippin coupons now...

sounds like a joke to me, like that post a while back about how tattoo artists should make 7 bucks an hour. no one is this dumb, i hope. if you are for real, like the others said you deserve whatever piece of crap you have on your body.

it's this person's first tattoo, come on guys bashing won't help this person much. If you are a person with little knowledge about after care you should ask your artist to give you a print out with aftercare. Don't get tattooed by inexperienced artists!. Learn about your artist/ shop first. If your tattoo is not infected let the tattoo heal for about a month and go to a reputable artist to re touch it.You should be ok after that. Do your research the next time. Good luck
