I got a tattoo last saturday and it isn't healed yet

I got a tattoo on my lower back the 30th of october it's now the 7th of november. It looks sick. It hurts all the time, It feels like wet sand (sick I know), and it looks like it's made of wax. What's wrong with it?

I got blisters on my tattoo from a skin irratation...nothing big.

You are moisturizing it right? I use Bag Balm and it works great. You can get it at Walgreens.
