i have a question

i am only 16 yrs. old and i want to get a tattoo .....will i be able to get it if mymom will come with me to the shop and all?

Im sure you can find some hack, but I doubt too many *good* tattoo artists will tattoo you illegally. Its never worth it for a tattoo artist to tattoo someone underage. Honestly, you probably should wait. I would recommend you spend the next two years researching and finding the best tattoo artist you can get to and afford and make sure you *dont* get a bad tattoo (check out BadTattoos.com to see what happens if you dont find a good artist. i live in richmond bc canada......but i thought if u have your payrents with you you could get one?

most reputable artists will not tattoo you if you are underage regardless of the law.

yes as long as you have your parents permistion, and that is only at some tatto places most do but others dont even care as long as they get the money they dont even care how old you are. i hope this helps

I hope you dont go to tattoo artists who dont care. Be original, instead of rushing to get a crappy tattoo (like most of us did), spend the time learning about the art of tattoo and get a good one from a respected artist once you turn 18. I tell you this, if you really seek out a great tattoo artist and save your pennies until you are 18, then the tattoo you will receive will be fantastic. If you rush and have someone do it now for cheap then you will get something ok, maybe even bad. The effort a good tattoo artist will put into someone who has waited paintently(and learned about the art) for years to get their tattoo is doesnt compare to the effort that an artist who will tattoo you underage without a parent is capable of. Be original, get good tattoos not bad tattoos.

i would call a shop and ask them what their procedure is on tattooing minors.it may be different in canada.i was in vancouver in april,really nice place.check out www.dutchman-tattoos.com they have some really good artists at the shop.and another good shop is www.sacredhearttattoo.ca
