I'm getting my FIRST tat on my lower back, I NEED ADVISE PLZ!

I'm getting a tribal tattoo on my lower back.. I'm kind of hesitant though bc this will be my first tattoo. Does it hurt in that area?

If pain is that much of a concern, then don't get a tattoo.

Agreed. If you think about it you are going to have a needle going into your skin a bazillion times. If the only reason you are getting this tattoo is so that it looks hot when you wear low cut jeans....don't do it.

Tattoos hurt, just in general, no matter what area. But considering that it's only a couple of hours of pain compared to the rest of eternity (longer than you can even imagine) with having the image there, the pain fades pretty quickly. You should be asking if having a tattoo on your back for the rest of your life is something you will ever regret, not about the pain.

Every one is a little scared at first...just think it through...if ya really want it the pain just does not matter!! ...TAz
