I NEED GOOD BLACK INK!!!!

27 messages · last activity 11/5/2014

Ok... I hear it all the time. EVERYONE HAS THE BEST BLACK INK IN TOWN. "Fuck that... this works better." "That stuff is shit.... this stuff works much better." What is THE REAL SHIT?!?! The good good shit. Currently I have tried Millenium Black, OnePass, Superior Black (Superior sucks anyway...) and I like Kuro Sumi. But I need BLACKER Ink. I want it to be nasty black. Any suggestions?
try intenze its thick consitencey is nice for me talenz is also good others out there i have tried e mail me for further info don
I hear ya man! I have went through my share of blacks as well. Of all I have tried Kuro Sumi is the Blackest I have used. Remeber a lot of it has to do with how you lay it in as well. Especially when you ar edoing trible. Take your time, if you get in to much of a hurry any ink you use will be light when you are finished. Intenze Inks are okay, but not really to my liking either. As I said for black I like ,and use Sumi, for color inks I love Fantasia, and a few of PermaPros colors as well.
shoe souls and piss, good enough for the russians.........
No doubt, i agree with erlich. With a good needle, Intenze will work wonders. Some people say Kuro Sumi will wash out over time. Great for a liner but not so much for solid fill I dunno, try it
Try Dynamic Black its fucking amazing.
for lining I like kuro sumi...if you want an intense black for shade or fill try taking 10 parts kuro sumi to 1 part witch hazel combine in a very clean sauce pan...bring to a full boil...reduce heat and simmer till ink is reduced by between 1/2 and 1/3 (trial and error for personal taste here!) takes about an hour to reduce...watch it constantly and do not allow to scorch!
hi guys,i`m new to tattooing and just want to know if i can use kuro sumi outlining ink to colour a tribal, this might sound stupid to some people but we gotta start somewhere.....help !!!!!!!
Just like in graphic design, the blackest has cyan in it. Add cyan or blue to your black ink. Who's your daddy now :D
for those that do not know cyan is blue... FK i didn't know you knew the cmyk scale..

why exactly is this being talked about in an open forum? anyone?
Why? Because it's interesting. Because we have brains and can filter what we read on these boards. It's interesting hearing about the kitchen disasters of braver and more foolish folk. And the only way to really find out something new is by breaking the rules and trying something different. BTW, I've never bothered trying Starbright tribal black but I'm reordering now and thought I might get a small sample. Am I doomed? Does it suck?
I really like Starbrite Tribal black. But, It is only good for filling solid black. Don't use it for lining or shading.
National triple black is the undisputed..... just ask Brandon Bond
Talenz of course Black Eye from Skin Candy Dynamic
Try Brighttec colours Solid Black.it is easier to get in the skinn and faster healing and the blackest ink you can get.same for the adder inks from brighttec the blue and reds are the absolut best in the world. it is in the swedish market at jdp.se
FK has it nailed.. I agree.. In graphic arts... a solid "registration black" has a print density of 300... made from 70 Cyan- 70 Magenta- 70 yellow- 90 black. Thats used in top quality print publications. Which means... when printing. first a 70% cyan is layed, then 70% magenta, then 70% yellow, then a 90% black over it. I used this theory in mixing my black ink and broke it down to percentage.(I used a 4oz emptybottle).....7 parts Talens(I would say you can use Kuro Sumi outlining also),1 part Intenze Persian Blue, 1 part light magenta, 1 part Intenze Light Magenta. (Closest colors IMO to printing inks). Also.. take one of the metal balls out of one of the INtenze bottles and keep it in your bottle that you mixed. Ive been using this for a few months now and damnnnn it goes in thick and dark as could be.
I agree with boogie, jokingly of course. talens is alright but i prefer my Kuro Sumi any day over some of the other crap on the market. It really does depend on how you lay it in. I use bullets on my needles to really pack it in. packs more solid, blacker than with a long taper and never had a problem with it. Just be glad you're not using some chinese shit that'll give you a third arm growing outta your taint.
kabuki is blacker than your back heart
Intenze True Black is the blackest ive ever used
Eternal's triple black is pretty black. It goes in fast and stays in. Try using witch hazel for the final clean up. That will help tighten the skin so the ink doesn't leak out as badly. Also, This is for FK. I know you say you use blue to make it black black. I have tried Mario's dark blue, and I have also tried Purple as well with my Intenze black. Seems to stay pretty black. But, I am sold on the triple black. I hear pelican ink is good, but that is from what I hear.
Talens is the best black ink. end of story.
I tell you....I have tried ALOT.Intenze true black is the bomb.
Everyone is different, I like nationals triple black. But I love fusion ink. Even the basic black in their sample pack blew me away.
try intenze sulupe black i hope u wll love it
For the blackest tat ink I use black scorpion ( tribal black ) it goes in the skin fast and stays velvet black after it heals up I love this stuff! Just my opinion on how it works and looks on me.
