If you blame the ink, please read this.

I just browsed through that thread about scream ink and something strange occured to me. I have a friend who's done some time. He managed to tattoo small geometric designs on himself with ink, a needle, and thread. He'd run the thread a little under the skin, pulling ink along with it. Now, despite the fact that the lines are a tad thick and they are a greeny blue because of the pen ink, they are perfect. Kind of sad that scratchers with actual equipment and professional pigments can't bost the same results and then actually have the balls to blame their tools.
While I've never heard of that particular way of 'tattooing', the point and original post was about the fact that some tattoo 'inks' are not safe to use and can definitely cause problems. I've heard of a lot of methods of making 'ink', especially while 'locked up' but that's not even close to products sold for the intent of tattooing into someone's skin to the public...Doc
heh i seen on taboo in i think moscow prisions, they made tattoo ink by bruning part off their shoes the rubber to a sut (i cant spell) .. and mixing it with urine..
Actually that form of tattooing has been used for centuries however the string is NOT drawn through the skin...the string wound around the needle close to the tip served the purpose of holding the ink that would then squish ( technical term) the ink into skin>
he actually drew it through the skin. Ow. I'm not promoting this method by any means, and I realize fully that there are certain pigments that contain certain substances that some people have violent reactions to...but if it's happening over and over with different people and different people, it's wise to maybe look somewhere else for the blame. I'm just rambling and hugry and saying things that everyone already knows because I want people to pay attention to me. *lifts shirt* LOOK AT ME!
roflmao! We now offically have a red light thread district!
HOOTERS, HOOTERS, HOOTERS!!!!!
(cues stripper music)
Sure, have heard about (did it when I was 11) the needle/thread 'tattoos' but still can't quite picture the way stated, whatever. Point is/was there are unsafe pigments out there and people have had reactions to them. While it's also true there are problems with tattoos that are not pigment related but that's a different post. I think I just got cyber-flashed, somehow it's not quite the same...Doc
Go ahead Doc...touch the screen....
Yeah, like it could be that simple...Doc
lol...you never know.... =P ...at the very least the static shock would be worth a cheap thrill!
or it could kill you...
Theval! No harm will come to the good doctor.... maybe a little ruffling of the britches perhaps....
Do you want everyone to die Theval? It seems to be a common theme for you lately.
Why not? Could be the start of a new fad...maybe the Emo kids will get in on it.
No. Of course I don't want everyone to die. But the sad truth is that we're all going to die anyways. I'm just doing my duty of reminding people. :o)
Preach on sister! Testify!...er, whatever.
Oh and by the way, I'm not the only one saying it either!! J says it too!! J says it too!!
die die die die die.... *in best Animal inpersonation*
Now now. My itty-bitties aren't worth dying for. I'm working in a very very empty bar and I am bored. I don't want to scrape redneck gum from under the redneck tables anymore.
but ya gotta have something to chew on......
I'd rather chew on my work shoes than chew that gum...
I don't blame the ink I blame the artist or scratcher that didn't do their homework first. Blame also partially rests with the manufacturer, but the end blame is the artist. The average client won't research his/her artist's tools that the job of the artist IMHO.
I blame you
I blame the rain. FUCK I'M BORED! Being a waitress is much more worth it when there are people to serve. No one wants to pay a $5 cover to get in here when there are no other people. Even if the bargun highballs and cocktails are $1.75 and the domestic beer is $2.75. One of you come to Cranbrook and visit me.
