First of all the artist probably did not clean and disinfect the area of your skin nor did they use fully clean and steril equipment. Secondly Stop gooping stuff on it. When you first get a tattoo, you should not put anything on it for the first 12-24 hours, to allow the plasma to seep out. If you start gooping it up right away than your pours will become clogged and blocked, and keep all the bacteria and other contaminents inside, that the *artist* did not remove before inking you.
Thirdly, where is the location? The tattoo will be painfull after ward, while it is healing. It is possible for it to burn, and for your skin to kinda of tighten up, it will also begin to peel, and when it does it will itch. This is a good sign, that means it is healing.
As to the red bumps and pimples, do they look like boils? Or how? Is it red ink ( or any derivitive) that they are around? It sounds like your skin is rejecting the ink where those bumps are, and also could be starting a staff infection.
If you can post a pic I can better help.
staff!!!!! sounds like stafffffffffffffffffffffffff infection go to the doctor !!!!!!!!!! then report his ass to local health department!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! people like him give us pros a bad rep report him go to a pro next time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there are still risks then but very minimal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!wake up america!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As mentioned earlier you're putting way too much on it to begin with not to mention said "artist" tattooing you with a "gun" probably had no idea what (s)he was doing, and probably gave you a great breeding ground for infection.
I would see a doctor asap, and please learn from this and tell friends too. Home tattooing is not safe. I would also be honest with your doctor about what happened so if you need to take any precautions or tests for hepatitis you are covered.
This shit is so serious, and it blows my mind how on this board people continuously talk about how they got a "home" tattoo but it was professional and the person knew what they were doing. Chances are if they don't even know its called a fucking machine, not a gun, they don't know what they're doing.
i agree i use guns to hunt with and my machines to give tattoos
=D.....am I the only one here that is seeing a trend? There sure are an abundance of posts that start out with.....I need your help......I'm having a problem......I think it's infected.......ALL followed by.....I got this home tattoo, but they were real clean, and used a real gun! Hey cheapskate........if a "real gun" was involved, I seriously doubt you'd be here in the first place asking dumbass questions. For Christ's sake take yourself to a qualified medical professional!!! I don't go on a dentists forum asking how to do a root canal......WTF????? Enjoy your hepa-gono-syphal-aides!
