I recently got tattooed and are havin the worst time with the healin. Its only been three days and already it is scabbed 3 inches thick it seem because I cant put ANYTHING on it withouit it pussing. It is not infected but severely overworked! The tattoo is on my collarbone just to the left of my neck and I have 30% of my body covered by the same artist so I know he didn't do it on purpose but I guess this type of thing happens when youre tattooed. It is cracking everywhre so bad that it bleeds and there is still clearish fluid comin out when it does. I havent been able to leave the house because I cant even put a shirt on. Is there anyone,Taz? out there that can help me?
you on steroids ?

hey there the best thing you can do is keep it clean, i just got part of my collar bone tattooed friday and its healing fine for me. Did you change soaps? how do you usaually take care of your tattoos? for me i use a&d until it starts to peal then i switch over to luberderm. I also wash the area as much as possible.. Good luck with it..
Sorry bout that Liz, someone is indeed spoofing you(you can tell by the IP)... Feel free to rag on the anonymous impostor.
too bad i dont know who it is..but beware i am looking!! LOL(sounds really mean right)
hey bryan, I never put anything on a fresh tat the same night, I've always been taught that if you do it tries to push out the ointment, sometimes causing it to scab even worse. I know some friends that do it that way, sometimes they heal good, sometimes they end up with a foot of scabs, guess it just depends on how good of a healer ya are. I always wait until the following evenig that way ist has a chance to stiffen up a little and breath. I always heal in 5 or 6 days but the collarbone for me was just soooooo sensitive and we used intense brand ink which is not dilluted and harder to work in than regular ink, i think we just took to much time with detail and didn't realize how much diggin' we were doin and believe me bro, I'm payin the price for it. Thanks for the feedback
