In memory of my mom

Just recently my mom passed away after a year-long struggle with cancer. I loved her very much and I find myself always missing her. I have thought about it and I would very much like to get a tattoo in her memory. I am a youngish girl and I want a classier tattoo that will remind me of my mom. Does anybody have any ideas. Your help would be much appreciated!!!

Im getting a tattoo in memory of my grandad. He used to love roses and had a huge rose garden so im gonna get some kind of rose. U should think of something your mum used to love and something that will remind you of her, that would be more special than getting "mom" on ya! Hope u find something! xxx

Just as you have decided, I have also decided to get a tattoo in memory of my mothers recent death. I agree with one of the previous replies...to find something that meant a lot to her and create from there. I know my mom will always be in my heart, but I would love to have a reminder on my body that someone would have to question....so I could say ..."let me tell you about her"... good luck in finding a perfect memorial.

Have you found a tattoo yet? Like you my mom passed away from cancer and I want to get a tattoo so when people see it I can talk about her and keep her memory alive. I'm getting some of her fav flowers with lots of color and with some wording.
