Infamous Wedding Band Tattoo

I, too, am thinking about getting a wedding band tattoo (yes, yes, Pamela, Tommy, blah blah blah, it's not about them, its about me... I am not claiming that I thought of it, or that it is original, but WTF I want to do it.) My husband and I have been married for 6 years on 07-07-07 and he has lost 2 wedding bands thus far. He is a fireman and is scared to wear his ring to work instead he carries it around on his keychain. We both have tattoos (he has 2 and I have 4) so the pain factor doesn't really affect us. We will NEVER get a divorce and so the permanance factor doesn't affect us either. And for all you pestimistic-lonley-been-done-wrong people, even if we did get a divorce, it would remind me of something that was once good. Moving on, I am a teacher and dont need everyone in the world seeing my tattoos. So I wear a band, but I want to get a tattoo that my band will cover but not something so small that is going to blur. I would also like to incorporate his name or our wedding date, any ideas? I have no idea what tattoo he will get, it's not about being the same its about expressing our commitment to each other.... seen any good ones out there?

who cares what anyone else thinks.. its your body.. get what u want! as for wedding bands i was thinkin of getting one done myself but decided not to get married :P i have looked tattooed wedding bands but didnt come up with much, so best thing to do is design your own and take your idea to your tattooist, or try looking up henna designs as they are mostly hand tattoos and u might find something for your "actual" tattoo there! good luck to u both!

Just remember that henna tattoos are NOT permanent!!
