Infected? Or Sissy? lol

Ok, I got my 3rd tattoo Weds, Oct 8th. My others did not hurt at all, but thisone is bigger and on my calf. Let me tell you, it hurts like hell. I limp, and it kills me. Theres a little redness around the tattoo, no pus a little warm. Its scabbing even though Ive been following the directions to the T. Ive been lightly using A & D ointment. I mean, my whole leg from knee to ankle hurts lol. Am I just being a sissy, since its so big and in a location diffrent then im used to, or co uld it be infected? I know, I should go to an artist or a doctor, but Id rather ask here first, I have 4 kids, and do not feel like dragging them to a Dr. Thanks to anyone who replies, you can email me @ [email removed] Thanks Emily

If it feels worse than a bad sunburn, then either the area was overworked or it could be infected. stop by the tattoo shop where you got the tattoo and ask them if it looks normal. Your tattoo artist should always be more than willing to help you with all your aftercare needs. if he/she says it doesn't look normal, or is unwilling to help, go to a doctor.
