Wow!Do you even look at the tattoos on this site?Do you know about the educational training and seminars offered all over this site?Just seems like you have not got past the forum. You tattoo out of a room in your house. Why? You said your room is probably more sterile than anyone's studio on this site. How is this? Most of the people on this site have taken a Bloodbourne Pathogens course.Have you?Health Educators.com You said"I've seen artists tattoo more than one client in the same room."Do you tattoo all over your house?Have you ever been to a convention? You also used the word, guns. Yes,there are good deals on e-bay.The problem is that they might be contaminated.I have seen a machine bought from ebay that was covered in ointment and ink.Disturbing.Personally I would prefer to buy from the builder if at all possible. If they were out of stock I would try ebay. For example there is a Joshua Carlton machine on ebay.I would buy it if Joshua did'nt have any himself.Or if it was ridiculously cheaper. Its a collector either way.But if you want a twenty dollar machine that is another story. I have been tattooed by over thirty artists and never seen or heard of them autoclaving gloves or barriers. I have not used an autoclave for over a year and I tattoo every day. peace, Jamie Cross
I love how everybody here trys to out "holier than thou" everybody..... There are lots of ways to keep it clean as anybody who has had to deal with regional rules in different states can tell you. Intenze ink? It has a marble in it like spraypaint... thats why I like it!
acctualy i am certified by my local health authority and the inspector was to say the least very impressed with my work station and room he said alot of local studios could learn alot from my daily routine the gloves i am referring to are infact the ones surgeons use in operating theatres i take all types of potential types of contamination deadly serious if you had read my post you will of seen i strip and rebuild all machines i purchase to my own personal tastes ... and i clave the frame for safe measure maybes abit anal but i like to keep things as clean as possible i did get a danny fowler g force from a well known guy in the states and was disgusted at the state of the machine knowing it had been readily used to tattoo his clients ive even contemplated with going through the route of having an air purification system installed in the room which in the uk they use in clean rooms to prepare items for use in surgical operations again problys very anal seeing as clients are potential health hazards to themselves having said that about the tattoo machines i was basicly pointing out if you cant strip and rebuild a cheap basic machine to run how you like your either doing something very wrong or dont have a clue what your doing i apologise if this causes any offence and please excuse my lack of grammer within my posts yours H
my apologies i did use the phrase gun in my post if i could edit it i would H
