I am using Cam's Tat Wax ink, and I am not too happy with it. It goes in ok, but fades drastically after healing. I was going to purchase starbright, but I am heard mixed things lately about mold? I am starting see alot of others using Intenze and Eternal. I am getting ready to place another order with my supply company, and would love to hear others opinions on inks.
Thanks!

I'm a fan of millenium's reds and greens, starbright's yellows and their thick white, but I"ve met a few people recently that swear by dermaglo's pigments. If you're licensed you shouldn't have a hard time getting ahold of it. Is it Mario Barth that promotes the Intenze line? I forget but they have a huge aray of colors to choose from if you're not into mixing your own.
Eternal, National, Intenze and Dermaglo
we at Tommy's Supplies is the producer of starbrite inks and i just want to let you know that all of our inks are sterilized, you will see it on our web at www.tommyssupplies.com. i have all documents to prove it.also about the mold case, our inks are very popular so you have millions of people purchasing them and there is that one person who thinks its alright to carry ink the the trunk of the car in over 100 degree weather.i think people should take a little more resposibility on learning how to take care of there inks so mold dont produce.if you have any questions about our starbrite inks you can contact me at 860-265-2199.
I use Intenze and the pigments are damn bright. Recommended for vivid designs.
I recently order some of their pastel line and can't wait to crank some tattoos with it.
Hey Tommy!....Great to meet you at TAzfest buddy!!
Do you have any hints for us about maintaining our pigments...how to avoid mold outbreak etc etc?...I don't think that this subject has ever been adressed here or anywhere for that matter...T
I dont' either Taz. No one's ever talked about the shelf life of pigment before. I have personallly used the 6 month then trash it theory. Or what sort of conditions are acceptable for maintaining your pigments ( temperature or whatnot ). I'm also extremely curious about how the ink is sterilized? I think this has been touched on slightly a few times.
HERE IS EVERYTHING TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR INKS
PROPER CARE OF TATTOO INKS
1) WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT THE COLORS BE USED FOR COSMETIC TATTOOING AND ARE NOT DISTRIBUTED FOR THE USE OF COSMETIC TATTOOING.
2) STORE INK IN A CLEAN DRY PLACE IN TEMPERATURES BETWEEN 50-75 DEGREES
3) KEEP AWAY FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT AND/OR ANY DISCIPATING HEAT, ESPECIALLY WHILE TATTOOING. DO NOT PLACE INKS NEAR ANY FORM OF LIGHTS.
4) KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
5) WHEN TRANSPORTING INKS FROM ONE CLIMATE TO ANOTHER BE SURE TO FOLLOW STEP 2.
6) WHEN TATTOOING BE SURE TO CHANGE GLOVES WHEN HANDLING DIFFERENT INK BOTTLES TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION.
7) MAKE SURE TATTOOING ENVIRMENT IS STERILE
8) WHEN BOTTLES ARE OPEN THE INKS ARE VOLNURABLE TO AIRBORNE VIRUSES.
9) NEVER TATTOO DIRECTLY FROM THE BOTTLE AND BE SURE TO USE STERILE DISPOSABLE INK CAPS PER CUSTOMER.
10) DUE TO THE COMPOSITION OF DIFFERENT INKS, DO NOT MIX WITH OTHER BRANDS.

cravin tattoos with mud
Yes, I also have made a large purchase of CAMS Tat Wax
and the same results.
The color goes in good but fades drastically.
VERY unhappy with this ink.
We have never used the tatwax pigments but have never heard anyone who was happy with it.If you hear that much negative about any product I think its wise to avoid using it don't you?
Is there anyone out there who has had good results with tatwax?
