Inner Arm Tattoo

Hey im gettin a Tattoo in my inner arm, and was just wondering if anyone on here has had any before and could tell me if it hurts more there! i no all tattoos hurt but just wondering

You will definitely feel it. It is a very tender area and that's just the way it is... Best thing you can do is try to focus on something and relax as much as possible. Your palms, feet and pits will be be drippin'! Good luck!

The pain is going to be so intense that it will more than likely make you pass out. It might even kill you. Hope that helps.

How silly of me... I forgot to mention the death part! It's just a minor side effect. Nothing perminant.

If you are planning to get something in the inner biceps with lots of shades, the brushing will make you remember things that you thought you have forgotten. lol, Based on my own physical experience the inner fore arm hurt less. Inner biceps tats are not too easy to deal with.

Damn, what are ya trying to do, scare Matt? Besides, hardly anyone dies from a tattoo nowadays and you should know that's something we don't like let out. Seriously, the inner upper arm bites but unless you're a light weight, you will be able to cope with it and to some degree, it also depends somewhat on the 'artist', some people's technique hurts more than others...Doc

to me, the upper inner arm hurts LESS than my inner forearm. jus sayin.

Yeah that dieing thing doesn't happen much, but it is a horrible way to go... After that first piece of ink it grows a fester a before you know it your covered and it has consummed you.

Hey man, getting the same thing done on Sat - apparently there an ointment called Emla that you can put on 30 min before - numbs the pain a bit.

You'd be suprised, they don't hurt that much on the inner bicep. I was in a fair bit of pain for maybe the first 5 - 10 minutes.. but after that its easy.... my session was 2 and a half hours. so 10 minutes of pain was nothing. it is a really cool spot to get done. people will try scaring u saying it hurts... when it really doesnt.

Inner arm tatts are fine mate I have had one and yep they do bruise buddy but it goes away after a few days, Anyway what the hell do people expect it's a trauma to your arm and skin and if you want the tatt in the first place be prepared to put up with the pain. 3/4 in-progress sleeve here: inner bicep hurt quite a bit. not as bad as the armpit area which felt terrible, but still pretty freaking bad. the area below the elbow was no joke either. that said, my tattooist spent quite a bit of time on my inner bicep area and it was pretty brutal. you'll get through it through. i kept thinking about other stuff and eventually, after what felt like about 14 hours (it was probably 10 minutes), it was over. fyi, that's the part that was the sorest for the longest after the tattoo was done.

i got a pretty large inner arm tattoo with lots of color and it hurt, but i mean nothing i couldnt handle. there was spots with solid black and that hurt quit a bit. but it turned out great. i think. hurt more than some of my other tats

It doesnt hurt really besides real close to the armpit but other than that the worst part is your hand falling asleep

Sure it hurts, but you know, conscious breathing, mental dissociation - things like that help, and it's not that bad. Of course I've had a baby, and it really doesn't begin to compare with 30 hours of labour. So, like, suck it up. You won't want to scream. Swear, maybe, but not scream. And it will likely bruise pretty extensively.

getting my inner bicep done soon......pumped! have my chest, shin, calf done so im not too worried about it. first color piece...wish me luck! :]

I just had my done and it hurt like a b**ch! It was the most painful out of all of my tats. What sucks is I have 2 more sessions to go and I have no idea how the hell I am going to get thru it.

Just had a indian wolf/ feathers done on my inner forearm, took about an hour and a half, just relax, get in the zone and it'll go fine. I got up to take a break when about 3/4 the way through and was higher than a kite with my endorphins kicking in ... now I want another done, it's been 40 years since the first tattoos I had done. Like I say, just relax and go with it ... don't fight it and you'll be fine. Think positive and enjoy having some permanent artwork done for you. Dave

Okay, I'm A Female Tattoo Artist And Im Getting My Inner Arm Done On My Birthday, And I'm Pretty Sure It's Nothing To Be Worried About, Unless You Have Your Foot Covered You DONT Know What Pain Is Sorry, But 7 Needles On Bone While Burning Up Your Whole Bone In Your Leg Is Pain, I Also Have Tattooed Someones Foot And I Felt Like I Was Killing The Girl She Was Screaming And Crying, I'll Never Tattoo Another Foot In My Life. As For Inner Arms It Aint Nothing But Another Piece Of Skin, It Will Hurt All Tattoo's Hurt Idc Where It Is, It Stings Some People Handle Pain Better Than Others, Its All About Pain Control, I Can Handle Pain, I Plan On Covering My Other Foot, Yeah A Pretty Dumbass Move But I Love Knowing My Body Is A Coloring Book With Amazing Art :)

I have tattoos on the insides of both upper arms. In my case they hurt more than the inner forearm, and were much more painful than any outer surface of the arm. Be prepared for pain, but for me it was worth it. (It's not as bad as getting the rib-cage done...)
