I'm having a hard time finding a cool small/simple symbol for inner peace or inner strength. If anyone out there knows of any please let me know.
I am having a VERY hard time finding the symbol (any symbol) for inner strength as well. Have you found it yet? [email removed]
Hi, I was looking for the same thing, If you come accross anything would you mind e-mailing me. Thanx -- LIZ
If you cant find one just do a buddha man :)
You can find a talented custom artist to help you draw the perfect Inner Strength/Peace artwork for you. Lou Jacque and < a href="http://www.NickBaxter.com">Nick Baxter are two very talented artists who "get" inner strength/peace in the new england area. there are lots of traditional tattoos that incorperate these themes, so you can read up on your asian tattoo history for stories you relate to, or read up about the old school sailor tattoos about finding the strength/peace to live their lifestyle... There are talented artists all over that can help you deign the perfect inner peace/strength tattoo specifiaclly for you. Where abouts do you all live?
I was looking for a symbol for inner piece as well, but not a chinese one. Anyhow through my research i found that in many other areas, such a budha, greek mythology, in yoga, as well as in chinese symbols, the snake symbolizes something similar to inner strength, ying and yang, yoga- your inner strength is like a coiled up snake... any way just forwarding the information so you can do your own research

the loutus flower or dove are symbols of peace
Hey! Can you maybe tell me if you ever found a symbol for inner strenght? I am looking for it too! Greetings!
Hey guys, number one, why small? Something to think about. I've said this many times, but it bears repeating... when people think about getting a tat, they always think about going small... like it's just a "cute" little symbol or something, but what people don't realize is that a larger piece of art gives a chance to blend well with your body, and opens you up for a lot of opportunities that you wouldn't have with some little "quarter sized stamp" on your bicep. Plus, if you've never been tattooed before, it's fairly addictive... you may be sorry you put that little stamp right in the middle of what could have been a prime piece of real estate! As far as symbols of peace/inner strength, Buddhism and Hinduism are loaded with them. Just go do some research. You'll come up with a dozen. But also don't forget other symbols of inner strength or peace could come from the animal world, or anywhere really!
just thinking here but wont most symbols be more about the path a soul takes to obtain inner peace? think about it, inner peace is obtained on an individual level at different times. but the importance is more the journey taken. why, if inner peace is individual, would there be a uniform all incompassing symbol for it. for example the celtic triquerta symbolizes the unity of mind body and spirit. maby if you broden your search and find different elements that you find attractive and try to design your own. that's what i did with my NA recovery tattoo. its not complicated but it has things that i love and can explain if anyone asks. anyway, thats just me.
Al, well spoken!!!! Tiny, half assed tattoos are rarely cute, not at all impressive despite any short lived detail, and simply display a lack of commitment. TCE
Hey Chinqi!...Thanks for your post my friend!! Is there any way we can see your tattoo?...thanks, TAz
Ok How a TAz finds inner peace.. By torturing Jwerk on a really disgusting level... Hamsters, mayo, rope and a fork ( email me!) Having meaningful conversation with the Voices... but mostly I find inner peace by annoying Gabe at least once a day ( you don't think he will read this do ya?)

I've also been looking for a symbol for 'inner strength' and I've found one that I really like. It's in chinese, and all the research I've done, shows that it is an accurate translation. You can find it at http://chineseculture.about.com/library/symbol/blcc_innerstrength.htm
The aum can be linked to inner peace (also knows as the "om").
there is a website for chinese paintings. www.chinesepaintings.com and I found and printed from there chinese calligraphy a symbol for inner strength. Hope this helps!
I wasted a lot of time looking for one and decided to design one myself, its a lot more fulfilling and isguarunteed to be uniqe and meaningful.
Very recently a client of mine wanted a couple of vertical-arrangement designs containing a Tibetan translation of the phrase "Inner peace and strength." She then bought the 2 designs on eBay at a promotional price of just 9GBP. I have just relisted the same 2 Tibetan-script designs for the regular price 18GBP, but may list them again at a lower price in the future.
i am looking for a symbol for inner strength but i want it to be different in some way. i dont want it very big but it needs something different than just a japanese or chinese symbol. please let me know if you find anything or have any ideas. thanks
www.reiki.info/.../Choku-Rei-Reiki-Symbol.htm i found this symbol for energy strength....
The symbole for inner strength/ peace is called the chicara and is a chinese symbol....I have had it on my arm as a reminder for myself for the past 15 years.
I am thinking of getting a tattoo on my wrist, not width wise but up and down it. I want it to say something strong and smart, Something that describes the pride i have for getting thru a long battle with depression and suicide. Something about inner strength. It will be a sentence with a butterfly, because i was once something insignificant and horrible, and ive transformed so much into a beautiful person. I Have thought of fully alive, and life is beautiful, but that really doesn't seem to sum up the statement i want this piece to make. Any ideas??
