Is it cheaper to get a tattoo at a convention

I dont know for shure. When artsits do a guest spot in studios, it can be more expensive to get work for them because they have to pay the traveling, booth renting and all other stuff too. Could be the same with artists who travel from a distance to conventions. But, I dont know for shure.
There is no way to predict. If you book ahead for the convention then you'll pay what the artist normally charges, sometimes more. If you get to the convention and the artist is sitting in his hands he might tattoo you at half his normal rate. It's a supply and demand situation that is difficult to predict..
If I had my druthers, I'd just go to the shop if my chosen artist is within a reasonable distance.
