is it infected

Ok hi everyone well i got me another tattoo on my hip 3 days have gone pass and my tattoo is purple around parts of my design my ink is straight black is this infected or bruised because its on the soft part of your body its near my stomach and i wear jeans could this be irritating it because their to tight i have anti bacterial cream just incase but is this cream alright to use

Did you get your tattoo in a licensed professional studio?... if so didn't the artist give you a care sheet or at the very least tell you how to care for your tattoo? Its ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT not antibacterial cream!

there are antibiotic creams i would recomened ointment as far as the discoloration goes this could be bruising from soft tissue damage ( lack of iron in blood and vitamins) clothing too tight will defintiely irratate it wear loose clothing on it for at least 1 week,and follow artist care instructions

You really should take it back to the artist, we cant see the tattoo, ya know? bruising is not unheard of.
