is it infected

I recently got a tattoo like 2 days ago, it is my second tattoo. The guy who did it work at inksmith and rogers. It is a claddagh on my hip.. it is really swollen, bruised all around the whole tattoo. I dont remember him showing me the steralized needle. I am scared bc i am in pain that it might be infected. I really dont remember my 1st tattoo being like this. need some advice...

is it hot to the touch? any drainage? what color is the drainage?

if you trusted the artist enough to do it then trust his advice. Go see him. I happen to know those guys and they have a stellar rep in the industry. I'm sure you'll be fine , but again I say go show the artist and do what he says.
