is it safe to get a tattoo while breasefeeding???

some of you may remember my previous question about tattoos streching on your stomach during pregnancy. (mine did fine by the way didn't even move... ha ha suck on that guy that said i was gonna get fat like all women in america!) now that ive had the baby and am fully recovered i would like to get a new tattoo for my little girl. i am breastfeeding though and was wondering if it is safe. what do you think?

Should be fine the ink will not go into your blood stream and be recirculated; however, you definitely need to check with your doctor.

The way i understand it is that Getting a tattoo during pregnancy the trauma can sometimes cause you to miscarriage and while breastfeeding i hear it can make your milk go bad for a week or 2. I could very well be wrong but it doesnt seem like it would be worth it to not just wait. I mean a tattoo is pretty insignifigant when weighed against any risk to your baby. Just my take on it But who the Hell am I Anyway? Right Erik
