is my tattoe infectied

I recently got two tattoes on my right and left rist my right rist i got a color tattoe as a design of a chinesse letter but in the middle of it it lookks like im missing skin i was getting scared ppl told me that it usually happens in that area expesially when it comes down to color .... its gonna be 1 week and it hasnt heel i need some edvice my other tattoe on the rist nothing happen to it its not my firstb tattoe so im kind of scared it never happenb to me need help edvice quick asap
