is my tattoo infected????

I got a tattoo on my foot on friday the 21st. It took one hour and has a lot of colors in it. Now on the 26th my foot is swollen from my toes to my anckle. There is a little bit of redness around the bottom of my tattoo where my flip-flops would rum up against it. I was wondering if my tattoo was infected and if it is what I need to do to heal it?

If you think your tattoo could be infecyed the first step is to see a doctor...There is simply no way fro us to say whats wrong, if anything, without seeing your tattoo...your artist should also be consulted.....TAz
