Is my tattoo infected?

Ok i got a tatto of a black star and out line on my wrist, two weeks ago.. I have been keeping it clean washing when needed the whole nine yards. So the past few days the middle of the black star looks like an open soar, i thought i was a scab but its not healing and it seems to be really deep. The guy i got it do thru, I have never been to and he went quite deep on the inside of the star.. so any ideas is it infected or did he just make a hole in my wrist?? PLEASE HELP!!!!

it sounds like you got overworked and scared it will heal eventually with the ink missing where the hole is let it run its course
