Josha Carlton moved???

Just checked the site and now it says that Joshua Carlton has moved and is now tattooing out of Sacred Ink..? I thought he was permanantly working in Atlanta at All or Nothing..? ((not that it really matters since i would be traveling to get work regardless))

Joshua has moved back to Indinia. Your right, he is well worth traveling for! We are lucky to have him for a two week guest spot next year at Off the Map Tattoo, our studio in western mass (2.5 hours from the city). Have fun!

No problemo. Thanks for the good wishes. I cant believe we're so lucky to be haveing so many talented folks float through. Im sure gonna hustle to keep em busy I tell ya! Joshua has 2 books coming out Dec 1st too, one where he interviewed 10 realistic tattoo artists for fans and another where he talks about his tattooing for tattoo artists. I reckon it will be good stuff!

No problem... The book project(s) defiinitely sound like interesting stuff. I'm gonna have to check those out, thanks for the heads up. I dunno why, I just really find his style of tattooing very unique and cutting edge. Every time he posts a new piece im amazed. Just wish his clients would ask for more color work lol.

And I saw your pics but when I talked to him using his email addy he didn't say a thing about Sacred Ink. I was told Josh was in Ariz by some folks who shoulda known so I doubted the Indy info. Seems ta be accurate tho. He has some big things lined up. you should touch base with him. I should clarify. Carlton did an amazing piece on my wife. A phoenix from shoulder blade to the bottom of her ass. No lines per sae. More like painting. He laid down some soft black texture lines and then filled them in with this crazed style of blending colors that I can't describe. It's really soft and sexy I think he uses varying pressure to get the mix to fade. I was floored. He's really really good. Couldn't have been happier I think she could be on a tatt mag cover with no problem. Its that classy... Just need to get it finished. She could only stand 1 and 1/2 days in a row. Which aint bad for her first one ;-)

Hey Nomad, sounds like a really interesting peice! Also sounds like your wife sat like a champ. Hopefully when its done he will post a pic so we can all see what you are talking about.

@ "Tortured" Just for the record I spoke to Joshua about this yesterday. He was pretty upset that some lowlife has been bootleggin stuff under his name. I suggest you get ahold of Joshua if you want to continue to believe Carlton himself has ripped you off. This was on Ebay right? I'm sure they still have a "complaint" procedure for this type of thing. And it's a pain in the ass for the seller. Most times they sieze up all of thier accounts including Paypal. You may want to look into that...

Whoops, I don't know if this was all related or not. Just seemed unlike Joshua who has been a very very honest and straight up person w/me. Not really my business but it kinda hit a nerve.
