Just started my Apprenticeship

Just wanted to say how stoked i am being involed in the Professional field of Tattooing, I started out scratching, but i knew i would not go any farther, with Determination and persitence, i landed an Apprenticeship. to start in the bottom humbles you, regardless of your Artistic capabilities, most important is learning properly to use the ultrasonic, autoclaves, thermofax, copiers, photoshop and knowing how to set up a liner and a shader, and know how it runs..there is alot of liabilility in the business, ignorance can ruin your career in a second, I learn new things everyday and i LOVE it, the only downside is when people flake on appointments, you also need to learn to deal with assholes like that. I know i will go far because i am sacrificing alot to be one day one of the BEST.

Hey Gabe, Thanks alot, i sure will keep u guys informed, I just wanted to let you know that the Boss gave me the set of Keys to the Shop,that made me feel so welcomed to the Crew I think im headed to the right direction!!

Good luck, our apprentice just walked after a year and a half. I think that was the last one for us... fucking apprentices, good luck, you better really want it!

wow man good for you ....keep up the positive attitude and you WILL go far! and congrats on getting keys to the shop, that is a big thing...i have been a licsenced tattoo artist in a street shop in mass and the non artist prick owner will not give keys cuz he has the shop flooded wioth spencers/hot topic bullshit... arrrgh congrats again man b

hey gabe,if you fancy an apprentice that will totally respect the gift your giving them take me please. im gona crak up if i go another day where i dont walk into the studio in the morning to that smell,the buzzing of the machines,drawing stencils,chatting to clients,being booted up the ass to go get coffee :-D. man i miss it.spent a year in a studio and my teacher moved back to chile short notice.god i miss it. never tattooed a person tho.if i dont get an apprenticeship i never will cuz i refuse to be a scratcher so im preying every fkn day ill get a break.actually emailed off the map about their opening for an apprentice/reception staff. but still waitin on a reply ha. so the guy just walked after a year and a hlf of you giving your time to help him. fkn retard,some people dont appreciate the chances they get in life.
