Canada nearly threw out an entire party of politicians over a few illegal campain funding.This guy led us into an illegal war illegaly and has thrown out some of our most sacred rights illegaly. can you believe when Harry Reid called on the democrats to censure the president a few weeks ago only ONE other democrat stood with him???? I have always been an independent, but for the love of god you would think these people would get those nuts yer talking about after everything we're going through. Ah well, gotta love Neil for speaking his mind. Though, when I was talking to my partner about this new protest album he was like, wasnt greendale a protest album? Maybe Neil realized he needed to be even more obvious to get the fucking sheepeople to wake up....

Ya know, i thought this was a tattoo site, not a site for politics...and all these political posts are really pissing me off. Every day people get reamed out for posting off topic questions or technical questions. Yet, the owner of the site is doing the exact same thing. i know what you guys are going to say, if you don't want ot read it, don't open it. But ya know what? So many people spend time responding to these WAY OFF TOPIC posts, that ones i psot with legitimate quesitons are ignored and simply drift on down the line until nobody sees them anymore. i just think this is getting kinda rediculous...Ducky

Hey Ducky...how ya doon?...I hafta kinda agree with ya...sometimes the political thing gets a bit much but Gabe is a guy with some very strong beliefs and he wants to share those beliefs and opinions with us...and it IS his site...out of respect for Gabe and Kim I always try to read anything political he posts...I don't always agree with his positions but I will give him the respect he deserves.and at least THINK about what he is sayin!....maybe we should all think about being a bit more politically active...I dunno! I'm just a dumb tattoo artist what do I know?...NOTHIN!!!!... See ya !...TAz

I dont remember the last time I took a post down, I think in the lifetime of this site we've taken down less than a dozen. There are TONS of off topic posts that we dont complain about (I dont remember complaining about off topic posts ever....?), we DO complain about technical posts. You know what pisses me off? A government that lies us into a quagmire we cant get out of or win that results in the DEATHS of THOUSANDS of people. Is there an end or solution in sight? You know what I love and take a big lead from? Artists who speak their mind. Ducky, I know you dont like to think about the war we are currently engaged in, but its a lot more important than getting your nose pierced I tell ya...

and Taz, as you know tattoo artists change peoples lives for the better everyday... thats pretty important. Whenever I think about mixing politics and this site I think about the artists I respect the most. All of them are very politically motivated and none are afraid to speak their mind. Neither am I.

excuse me but i never said that i dont like to think about the war we are in or that people shouldn't voice there opinions, but there is so much other crap that goes on on here that people get upset over that i think this is one of the things that don't need to be posted on a tattoo forum. just like you have your opinion and can voice it about the war, i can voice my opinion about what should be brought up.

Sorry, I guess I was thinking about when you mentioned you dont like to think about politics much or that you dont expect the government to tell the truth... I dont recall complaining about any off-topic posts (I could be wrong)... With a few thousand people checking every day there's bound to be plenty of non-tattoo talk. It sounded like you were calling me a hypocrite for posting something non-tattoo... Your absolutely right, you can tell me what you think should or shouldnt be posted and please tell me what pisses you off! That said, 2 political posts amongst the 40-50 threads that are active in the last few days is hardly saturating the board with politics. I do apologize for not answering the zillions of questions on the board. Lastly, Neil Young has been one of my favorite artists and has been a great influence throughout my life (even though he was a Reagan supporter) and I thought his interview was great. Of course, political sparring with entertainment reporters is kinda like shooting fish in a barrel, but I thought the video was worth posting... You know, my hero is releasing this album to tip people just like me into more action... I really am honored that you appreciate this message-board enough to get emotional about it, please speak yer mind all you want!

And Gabe...What you said was basically a reflection of my post.... I AGREE WITH YOU!!! Most people don't realize that tattoo artists DO have a voice and its a pretty strong one at that! If you want to post a political thread I have absolutely NOTHING against it at all. In fact I enjoy hearing your succinct viewpoints (even if you are wrong! LOL!!) So keep em coming!

Taz, we seem to agree where it counts the most, education. Left, right, or center, education is the solution, not legislation. But hey, someday you should lay the error of my ways on me!

hey gabe I know I havent been on here that long but I for one enjoy political conversation as long as the truth is being told and the statements are actual fact and not opinion. I mean something has gotta give with our government. Dont get me wrong I love this country but I hate the government. actually it's not the government i hate but the fact that money and muscle rules our government. America wants to rule the earth. The president sees us as a super race...hmmmm.....sound familiar....look at anything, from the gas prices to the FDA, and it is all MONEY...This has actually been my big debate with a lot of my associates where I try to tell them it was never a white vs black thing with our country as much as it is a rich vs poor. Rich black people HATE poor black people and rich white people HATE poor white people. And they almost always say the same thing, well look at slavery the slaves were all black. Yeah but come on do you really think the slaves were brought over here because they were black or was it because they were poor? The sad part is the only thing that keeps our country in power is our army. other countries are intimidated by our muscle, but seeing as our education level is dramatically decreasing all its gonna take is one smart ass country to beat us in this game of chess.....think about this while we are overseas fighting terrorists we have thousands of children being gunned down in our streets by bloods, crips, latin kings, the mafia, angry boyfriends or hoodlums that just wanna know what it feels like to shoot someone.Now these are terrorists to me, and on our own soil. Not to mention that we have been allowing arabs to live in this country for decades now and many (not all) have been plotting on us on our own soil..They know that Americans are so stupid and judgemental that we will accept anyone as long as you got a nice haircut and dress nice.Think about how many immigrants have been opening up corner stores in the past 15 years.If they wanted to execute a terror plot all they have to do is poison the food that we buy from these corner stores all at the same time on the same day. Bush and the rest of the white house for that matter only care about people immediately related to them and thats it....And this is proven by the fact that NOTHING is being done to control the guns in this country, NOTHING is being done to lower the gas prices in this country, NOTHING is being done to get rid of drugs and gangs.Did you know that for every prescription drug out there on the market there is a natural cure with less or no side effects and most of the time work faster than the prescription drugs plus they are a 100% safer? BUT the FDA CANNOT patent a natural cure so they make their own man made drug and sell it in a pharmacy and go nuts with the profits. I remember when I was younger and the crime rate wasnt AS bad as it is now and i could remember just about every neighborhood in the city I'm from had a police officer that everybody new and he would come by your house just to check up and make sure everything was ok. This is no longer done. If it doesnt make a profit the government doesnt do anything about it.. sorry guys i am just real passionate towards certain things and this happens to be one of them....I'll shut up now...I think
