hey, i just had this tattoo done, www.geocities.com/rambo_face/tatt2, i've since had it coloured and am please, but am finding it hard to add too, i would like to keep the theme and create a sleeve, but for my next one i would like it to be more simple, maybe just a nice design to use to join another piece. If anyone would like to draw me something or give me an idea please email me at [email removed], i'll be more that willing to pay for top notch designs, thanks! Ben
I dun know about me drawing it, but i do have an idea! what about having smoke or something like that. simple but it looks like it would flow with the idea...just a thought Ducky
yeah i was thinking some curvy spiraly smoke, just dunno how to join it really, i need some sort of design to seperate 2 designs, hmmm
Well, the sides of the tatto are kinda curvy. Maybe work off of that? I will see if i can come up with something... :)
You may not want to hear this, but in all honesty, that tattoo is a very poor quality tattoo. Instead of adding on to it, you might want to consider having it covered up completely with a good tattoo from a quality professional. Bugs who works at Evil from the Needle could do wonders with that, and there are a ton of other great tattoo artists from the UK as well. Since you already stated that you're willing to pay for top notch art, if you go to a top notch tattoo artist, you'll be much MUCH more satisfied with the piece. If whoever you're going to now can't come up with something to add onto that, I would think that there is another reason to seek out a top quality tattoo artist. Good Luck to you on your search. Hope it all works out for the better!
in all respect i must agree with krystoff i looked at the picture and i was not real happy with the line work and lay out. on a positive note i do see potential in the artist, just needs some more time and experience belive me neither myself or krystoff are purposely doging you or the artist, and to be ohnest if i was to work out a desing for this it would be more of a cover up than a add on without seeing the most recent GOOD pic of this piece. its hard to develop a add on or anything for it i have done my share of fix ups including my own from when i started tattooing back in 98 i look at the work then and now and there is a noticable difference, and fortunately i am able to rectify my mistakes, and errors and produce some very nice acceptable work for it.as far as comissioning a piece for it i would have to have several pics of said tattto and estimate my drawing time and such and require a 50% down payment for said add on and or coverup
after looking at the picture again do you have a good quality pic of the tattoo the one i have is out of focus and not doing anything justice
not yet sorry, i know it's a terrible pic, totaly out of focus, i had to use a video camera you see. I actually designed it myself, and it looks exactly like the original, mainly cos he used a transfer so it couldn't go that wrong. It has since been coloured, green zombie, the buildings are 2 shades of purple, the clouds are 2 shades of grey and the skull is white with a green glow. I will try get a colour pic up here soon. So imagine it looks good, any ideas how to add?
Your best bet is to go to the artist who will do the tattoo for you and have he or she draw it for you. That is the best way for you to get a great tattoo.
