Hello, I had posted this under another heading but I had put the word "apprenticeship" in the heading and that I think tends to turn people away from checking it out. I am going to be starting my hunt for the all mighty apprenticeship soon and wanted to share some of my drawings and find out any input I could get from you guys. Thanks

Hey, I don't know anything about the Tattooing side, other than i admire the art, but i do know about drawing/artwork. I like yours a lot. You deffinately have your own style, and i'm sure it appeals to a good number as i've seen pictures similar before. I really like the one you did of the tiger and the koy fish. keep up the good work :)
hey man just a slight suggestion. Now im not the best artist out ther but i been thru art school and scene and now enough about art and i think you need a little more pratice.. now are those pictures up to date? Do you have more then what your showing.. I hope so and i hope its book loads.. AS an apprentice you would be drawing everyday, so i heard.. So if your not doing that already and i mean for hours then maybe you should start and just draw and draw go get tatooed by artist you admire.. ask them questions maybe ask them to look at your work and see what they say...good luck
i am in p.a if you would like to email me some of your art feel free.maybee we can help you.www.thirddimensiontattoos.com
I tried looking at your stuff last nite but the site wouldn't let me in, so I didn't comment, but today it did for whatever reason. I'll try not to be to harsh here, but since your asking for opinions on a public forum, I'll be honest. If you're serious about apprenticing and tattooing, you should seriously take some art classes. Your drawings are High School Book Cover quality at best. If you take some art classes, you'll learn about perspective and light sources among other things such as texturing, etc. Also, I would suggest investing in some quality colored pencils such as prismacolors since you're using these designs to try to impress whoever you're going to try to obtain the apprenticeship from. I don't know how old you are, but I can give you my word that if you take the mentioned classes, in 1 year, you'll be totally ashamed of these images. Dont' get me wrong, there are world class pros out there right now that aren't too high on what they did a year ago, but their quality then was still mindblowing. Hope you take the advice and wish you the best.
