Looking for Help

I am looking to learn how to tattoo. Any tips or hints at learning the trade would be helpful, as I am a dedicated artist, but have never even held a gun. Thanks

To the original question: Apprenticeships generally last for 2-6 years. You better be dedicated. Really dedicated.

No doubt, if you land an apprenticeship, be ready to do some grunt work. Theres a lot more to tattooing than just being an artist, not knocking you at all. It was a real wake-up when i first started a few years back. Lots of cleaning and running around before you even touch a machine. Oh yeah, you'll have to tattoo yourself as well. So have a look for an artist who needs an apprentice and have at it the right way. Ready? All the best
