My wife is an aspiring artist (see my other posts). I'm looking for recommendations as the the best shop in SA. Simply put to be the best you have to learn from the best. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
KeAz

A constructive post after two degrogatory ones? Well anyway your recommendation is prolly good. I've check out their site and the work was pretty sweet.
A quick message. Sorry might of jumped the gun on my remark. If your not [email removed]
Killer, I sent you an e-mail. I'm sincerely hoping it was your real e-mail. The one I use is mine I've got nothing to hide. If you got it, I left you contact info.
Mr. Lucky's is the best, hands down.
Douglas Billian from Devineline Tattoo has his portfolio on this site. He has been doing it the right way, taking criticism, good advice, and hard work and turning it into great progress.
Divine Line missed a couple of appointments with my wife. She left her number, but they never called back. They said they liked her portfolio when she stopped by. She got 3 offers from the other three shops she visited. Turned one down on advice from a friend (talk of art theft). She did an interview pieces for the other two. One wanted her as an artist the other suggested an apprenticeship. She didn't like the look of the shop or the quality of the art at the one that offered her the artist job, so knew a person at the other shop and liked their setup so she took the apprenticeship. She says she's learned more in her first week there than her month long prior apprenticeship. She works on friends and customers(for small tats) there. She is also going to be doing a piece on the artist she's apprenticing under and has gotten one by their other artist. She is thoroughly enjoying her apprenticeship. It's been hard work but worth it. Thx to the forum for all those who helped or tried to help.
BTW.... The shop she's at now is Timeless Art Tattoos. She's apprenticing under Chuy there.

at divine line tat2 we are really strict being retired military and i try to apply that to all that goes on here. i hope to see u guys soon.. i dont think there really is a best artist in san antonio or shop we all have a style to offer. just match with the artist desire and talent of portfolio.....thanks
Well since then she has worked for two other shops and is slowly becoming known by her work here in San Antonio. BTW that was BS from 2 years ago. She had an appointment and you missed it. I was military myself. If that was Doug that responded... You probably know her by now. Her name is Sue. She's gotten very good and getting better.
One last thing. Some of her old (A lot of her pre-apprentice work and work from the first shop she was at.) is at her MySpace she's Tatuguru there. Her current shop she is at is Ace Tattoos.
