Losing Weight...Will it effect my tattoo?

Ok, i am planning on getting a tattoo on my back (Wings), but i am sort of overweight. The thing is, i want the tatto now, instead of waiting until i lose the excess weight, my question is, will my tattoo be effected if i lose weight? Also...if i become pregnant, will a tattoo on my back be effected?

I have a back piece done and I am also a thicker girl, I have gone through three pregnancies and none have affected my tattooes. I have gained weight and lost it rapidly a few times and still has not affected them, my artist says it wont affect it either but I am sure it depends on who you talk to. The only thing that I have noticed is gravity...yes..I got my first back tattoo when I was 14, now 28 it isnt in the same spot.hehehe Only I notice the movement though. It hasnt distorted the design or color though, just the location a bit, not a huge difference. I hope this helps.
