Lower lower belly tattoo and pregnancy?

Hi, sorry if this question has been asked on this board before. I am thinking about a tattoo for my 30th birthday. I've thought and thought about where on the body to get one: very private, for my lover's eyes only. If I got one several inches below my navel -- or right at the, uh, hairline -- would it stretch out if I got pregnant? I guess I should ask pregnant women just where their bellies stretch! Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks!

ive never been pregnant...but i would think that area would stretch, I think pretty much anything mid-section related stretches :(

yes it will stretch just as it should during pregnancy.but its during and after to worry.huh?what? stretch marks! those nasty damm stretch marks.these are basicaly inheritated from the gene pool so if your mom sis aunt and such have a history of stretch marks i would give it some serious thought as the scar would alter the tattoo with scar tissue.they say use vitamin e during this to help ease the scaring but if your destin to get them then its going to happen.but if your lucky to not have any stretch marks then the tattoo will alter with the body but after birth it should regain its normal apperance.you may want to think of placing the tattoo off to the side still keeping it low and within the panty line.nice thing about this placement is you will later feel like out of balance and may want one on the other side also. best of luck in you tattoo adventure ( don)

Hey, I have my entire stomach tattooed and I have a two year old, thankfully I have very minamal strech marks, but I take care of my body and skin, like they said alot is geneitics, but the tattoos I had before I had my daughter look fine now, so I really wouldn't worry, these placement is pretty low anyway and that area doesn't strech much, good luck
