lowering my duty cycle

Hey fellas, I used to tattoo (sctratcher) back in the day (poorly) and I quit cuz all my tattoos would look great when I finished, then a week later they'd scab really bad and fade in areas and I just couldn't stand seeing my work go to shit or to have people think bad of me like I screwed them over so I sucked it up and just stopped. I wasn't doing it the steril way either so I figured it was the right thing to do by quitting. Now, im at a better point in my life and can afford to do it the right way. I've dropped a couple grand on supplies ( worked hard for.it too) autoclave, ultrasonic, disposables until I got those sterilizers, machine bags, clipcord bags, biocontainer, individual tattoo goo packs for during and aftercare of my tags. Couple thousand cups, bands, grommets, and gloves, some cases of sterilyzing disposable wipes, aftercare bandages, digital lesser powersupply to avoid CC. Auto clave bags........ ANYWAYS......lol Point is, im tryin to do it right. And now im learning to tune. Im not tryin to step on anyones toes or years of tradition. I respect the art and maybe one day go public. But for now. Im just doing free work for experience. (Cost of supplies only) self tattoos and family members also. Just got a hildbrandt liner and got a j carlton shaded on the way. Im having trouble getting my duty cycle down to 54-50 My duty cycle.is around 67% my Ft stays at zero. My HZ wont go lower than 160. So what's my problem here? Understand if I don't get any answers.
