machine trouble

7 messages · last activity 7/11/2006

I have a shading machine (S&R Wolverine) that is driving me batty. I have tried everything- speed, depth, gap, very slow to moderate hand speed, everything. I keep getting fallout and ending up with wispy little swirly hair-like lines where there should be solid color... does anyone have any ideas I seem to have missed, because I am at my wits' end with this machine. Any suggestions, even if they seem obvious, would be appreciated.
Fallout? I'll assume that you mean that the pigment is falling out of the skin. This can only be one thing... Your not going deep enough. Also, try thinning your pigment if its to thick. water, glycerin, alcohol
are you splaying your needles
Sounds like you need an apprentiship and/or learn how to tuna fish.
Ditto, Hotspark.
Yeah...How long and where have you been tattooing...?
Are you using pre made needles?..checking them carefully...are you inspecting your tube tips?
