married to my tattooist

Hey all first time poster here my wife aka "tattooin bitch" is my also my tattooist so i was just checkin to see if im the only one on here like that and if not maybe we could start a support group have meeting drink coffee and help each other out seein as we have to live with a really uniqe type of person lmfao no just teasin... i am proud to be wearin her very first tattoo and no it doesnt look the best and she wants to go back and fix it.. i know why she wants to but its kind of sentimental to me!!! not sure what to do. so any advice would be helpfull???

Welcome!!!!!!!! I think all of the experienced artists went to bed early tonight. I'm no tattoo artist, and I mean no disrespect, but is it feasible for her to fix it without making it worse? I know this kinda defeats the purpose, but since it will always be her design, fixing it may be better left to someone who has a lot of experience. This is a lesson I'm beginning to learn myself. oh no she can fix it i mean she is no TAZ yet and i mean yet but she did this 2 years ago when she first started so its not a matter of can she fix it but that i dont want her to fix it cuz its kind of special to me but i also want to be aware of her feelings for her work if that makes any sense at all

hey guys and gals...could i chime in here for a quick second....if you like the tattoo that she initially did because of sentimental reasons maybe you could keep it as is..but just have her either add on too it ....unless it's REALLY bad and in that case maybe she could give you another tatt somewhere else..then that way there if anyone asks you could explain to them that the old one was a beginner piece and then you could whip out the new tatt and show them how she's progressed....just a thought, cause I have a few on me that I did when I first started out and I dont wanna cover them up AT ALL, because of sentimental reasons....
