ANybody got pics of Mike Ropers work? I read an interview with Grime where he said Mike can tattoo circles around him and 99% of all other guys. I'd just like to be able to see his work if possible. Also, does anybody know where he works at??? Thanks
Mike works at a private studio in Tempe,AZ.,and out of No Regrets Tattoo,in Tempe..Call the shop, and they will contact him..480.967-5200 I read the interview too,and i think Grime said that was because he is an excellent tattooer, and he's very low key..He doesn't really send work into the magazines..Although i've seen some of his work in tattoolife.com He does excellent japanese work..
check out www.myspace.com/ethansin this guy has some work by Mike Roper on his page..
Aww man! I looked at that myspace page and was amazed. Mikes style is incredible....that shit just straight up amazes me. Anybody who gets tattooed by him is a lucky fool, Im jealous I dont have the same opportunity. But hey, its all good. his shit is so sick though. Thanks for the lookout, anymore pics would be awesome. I really like his work.
Hi, i know mike roper, he works out of his house not at no regrets anymore, he is an amazing artist, if you want his number i can get it for you....
actually last i herd mike was working out of his house. my boss has been talking to him about doing her sleeve.

I am currently being tattooed by him. He is the most laid back tattoo artist I have ever dealt with, and his work his amazing, this is by far the most amazing piece I have on my body. Please do not give his number out on line. If you are interested in getting work done by him, call or go to No regrets and they will pass along your contact info to him. I have asked him if he is ok with me giving his number out to potential people wanting to get work done by him and he said no. So I would respect his wishes, he does tattoo out of his home after all. But it is so worth looking into, I love my tattoo!!
Hey!!! MIKE ROPER IS FREAKING AWESOME. A big thanks to whoever posted those pics. I really enjoyed seeing some more of his spectacular work. I hate to ask....but I got to.....any more pics??? PURTY PLEASE!!
ive recieved several large pieces from mike and every person that has seen them were amazed,im super happy and looking forward to getting more.
My wife and I went into No Regrets, and saw his book....and holy shit, it's no joke. Our good buddy Lew in Portland, OR always talked about how hard Mike ruled. And you think, you know, you have an idea of what good tattooing is, like Grime or Filip Leu tattoos. But really, I'm not exaggerating, he is siiiiiick. Everything was perfect. Never seen anything like it. It took us forever to put his book down. We didn't even know that they had his portfolio in No Regrets, we just wandered in there. There was no name on the front, and I asked, "Cheezus! Who's book is this?!" I actually sent him a zine of mine, asking him to tattoo me (probably a bad idea, because I'm sort of crazy), and got him on the phone a couple'a times. I was supposed to get tattooed by him before I left town. Sadly, it never happened. It'd be worth the year long wait and the plane fare to Tempe. Anyway, Grime wasn't kidding. He's that good. And totally underground. He's like the mysterious native guy on Mystery Men...what a badass.
I have worked at No Regrets, and know Roper well. He has never worked at that shop, he just had a portfolio there, but no longer does. He works entirely out of a private studio, and does only large-scale asian style pieces. He's selective, because he can be. His stuff is amazing, but you more or less have to know someone or know him to be tattooed by him.
I've been searching around for a really talented artist in the Phoenix area that does Japanese style tattoos and I was excited to hear about Mike Roper. It sounds like it would be near impossible for me to get a tattoo by him since he's so exclusive, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend another artist in the Phoenix area that specializes in traditional japanese tattoo? Please e-mail me if you can help: [email removed].
I am a mom who is looking for a safe clean place for my son to get a tattoo. He is graduating from high school this month and wants a tattoo despite his mother's pleading not to. I think I use to work with Mike Roper's dad ( if it is the one I am thinking of) I would like to talk to him for info. Does anyone have current info regarding his whereabouts and contact info?
check out www.immaculatetattoo.com is one of the best shop's in Phoenix..
yeah good luck with the pics man...a guy I tattoo with has a backpiece done by mike and his work is really impressive. Last I heard he was tattooing in japan 6 months out of the year and he works out of his house for the other 6 months. I don't know him personally but I heard he is very selective with his customers. If you find a way to get pics or reach him email me because I am looking for someone to do my back and he is at the top of my list
Man, I wish there were some way to get ahold of Mike now. Anyone got any ideas?
I am friends with Mike and he really is not interested in taking appointments at this time as he tattoos most of his friends. I am sure if he was really into your idea and you did not just say "do whatever you want" he possibly might tatoo you if he likes u enough
I have been trying to get a hold of Mike for years. He is a very old friend of mine. He did one of my very first tattoos and it still looks amazing. If anyone can give him my email address, I would never ask for his number but I would really love to talk with him. Thanks! [email removed]
