Mom and daughter tattoos

Hey. My mom and I wanted to get tattoo's together that could represent each of us. If anyone has any ideas, excluding chinese writing that would be great!

Are you chinese? I would think about images that represent you and your mom, maybe images that are meaningful to both. Objects from childhood, photosgraphs of fun vacations... Tattooing is very visual, dont limit yourself to kanji. Get some great ideas together and get ahold of some of the artists that go to the Calgary convention each year, its an amazing show from all reports. good luck, let us know your thoughts and how it goes!
